The Infiniti FX Limited Edition - just 18 are heading for the UK
Infiniti were busy bees last year introducing their range across Europe. Despite that, we can’t say we’re coming across too many Infinitis on the road but despite that Infiniti think the time is right to launch a Limited Edition version of the FX Crossover. The Infiniti FX Limited Edition will comprise of just 100 cars, with only eighteen coming to the UK.
British Car Auctions (BCA) is offering one very specially specified MINI Cooper S John Cooper Works. The car is set to go under the hammer on Wednesday 15 August at BCA's Blackbushe auction centre. This MINI actually boasts nearly every factory option originally available for the car and cost over £30,000 when it was built back in 2011 – from customised exterior and interior parts, engine and chassis upgrades and in-car gadgets, this MINI is full to bursting with options. The Lamborghini Egoista (which translate as the Lamborghini ‘Selfish’) gets its name because it is designed as a single seater, purely for the pleasure of the driver. Designed by Walter De Silva, the Egoista sports dramatic styling that is said to be inspired by the Apache helicopter (and isn’t entirely successful – the Apache looks better) and extensively uses carbon fibre with a canopy that can be removed for real single-seat fresh air thrills. Power comes from the Gallardo’s 5.2 litre V10, although so far all Lamborghini has done is release a single photo of the Egoista (above), so we don’t yet know whether the Egoista will be a one-off special like the Aventador J, a short run at silly prices like the Veneno or just a concept that will never see the light of day again.
